I have lived and worked in London all my life. I am a qualified City of Westminster Guide and a professional tour guide.
As well delivering walking tours and talks, I lead groups of tourists on Routemaster bus tours, and to sites like Stonehenge, Windsor and Oxford.
I am conducting courses of my walks for the City Lit
I also assist tours of disused parts of the London underground network for Hidden London, connected to the London Transport Museum.
I previously promoted my walks under Trails of the City.
I have worked and volunteered in a number of historic houses and museums, including the Foundling Museum, the Royal College of Physicians and Fulham Palace, and I am very involved with the Crystal Palace museum., with whom I conduct tours and talks.
I have been interviewed on BBC Radio Berkshire and for a Channel Five Select documentary: "Walking Victorian Britain” as well as for a satellite channel history series, “Mysteries at the Castle” on historic subjects.
I am a trained actor, having worked on the fringe and amateur theatre and I endeavour to channel such skills and energy to animate my guiding.
After a twenty year + career in the civil service, I decided to dedicate myself to showing off our great history..
